We are an innovative investment banking boutique with a clear focus on SMEs and act as a platform provider for the exchange between listed companies and institutional investors. In addition to top-class equity research, we offer capital market events in Germany and abroad as well as comprehensive support for equity and debt financing. Our mission: to bring issuers and investors together and ensure transparency in the stock market environment. We concentrate on those market participants whose language we speak best: small and mid caps on the one hand and asset managers, family offices and investment boutiques with an investment focus on second-line stocks on the other.

Due to our dynamic development, we are looking for the following reinforcement for our team as soon as possible:

JUNIOR ANALYST (M/F/D)

YOUR TASKS

  • Establishing our own sector coverage and tracking relevant market and competitive topics
  • Preparation and publication of company analyses including valuation using recognized methods of fundamental analysis (e.g. DCF model, sum-of-the-parts model, peer group comparison)
  • Development and maintenance of company data and presentation of own investment ideas
  • Regular, independent communication with board members and investor relations managers
  • Independent organization of company visits and participation in Capital Markets Days
  • Organization and support of capital market conferences, roadshows and field trips as well as virtual events with board members and investors

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in economics (business administration/economics) with a focus on finance, banking, capital markets,
    Accounting or financial statement analysis
  • Ideally initial experience in company analysis and a great passion for equities
  • Enjoy dealing with customers
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Representative appearance, high level of commitment and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English

  • Responsibility for the training of our junior team
  • Support with the final approval of our research publications
  • Intensive networking with top-class business leaders and investors
  • Presentation and development of own investment ideas and diverse market analyses
  • Independent organization of company visits and participation in Capital Markets Days
  • Organization and support of capital market conferences, roadshows and field trips as well as virtual events with board members and investors

YOUR PROFILE

  • Several years of experience in the field of equity and company valuation at a research house, bank or asset manager
  • In-depth knowledge of the German small and mid-cap market and a passion for stock picking
  • Enjoy sales and dealing with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Representative appearance, high level of commitment and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English

You will support the team in analyzing listed companies and creating graphics. You will maintain company data as a basis for forecasts and competitive comparisons. You will help our events team with the organization of roadshows, round tables, earnings calls and conferences.

YOUR PROFILE
You are currently studying economics (business administration/economics) with a focus on finance, banking,
Capital markets, accounting or financial statement analysis. You will be available for a period of at least 3 months.

You have a very good command of German and you have no difficulty in formulating facts. Ideally, you have already gained some practical experience at a bank, an auditing firm or a financial services provider. You should be enthusiastic about the stock market, interested in fundamental company valuation and be confident with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
